Throughout the entire process, you’ll be working directly with the owners of Sublime Pools RVA, who strive to keep every step high-quality with smooth and transparent communication.
Our process starts with a thorough on-site assessment of the tile and coping, plaster condition, plumbing, equipment, or decking. Following the on-site visit, we will work with you to make material selections, define the scope of work, and send the estimate/contract for approval. We will also outline a realistic timeline for project kick-off.
Our jobs typically consist of draining your pool and demoing the old surface, tile, or coping down to sound substrate. Then we will surface prep by cleaning, removing hollow spots, and then applying a scratch coat prior to plastering. The interior finish (pebble or quartz) is then applied in a single continuous pour since it can’t be paused partway through, and the pool must be refilled within hours to avoid plaster burn. At the same time, any new or upgraded equipment — pumps, filters, heaters, automation — gets installed and pressure-tested before anything is covered up.
Once the pool is filled, we will do a walkthrough with the owner to make sure everything exceeds your expectations!
